متحف السودان القومي
يقع في قلب الخرطوم، وتم افتتاحه في عام 1971. يضم آثار منطقة حلفا والمناطق التي غمرتها بحيرة السد العالي ومناطق مروي، مرتبة في قاعات تبرز التسلسل التاريخي للآثار حسب حضاراتها. يفتح المتحف أبوابه يوميًا ما عدا يوم الإثنين من الثامنة والنصف صباحًا وحتى السادسة والنصف مساءً.
متحف بيت الخليفة
أنشئ عام 1928، وهو بيت خليفة عبدالله خليفة الإمام المهدي، ويعد المبنى نفسه أثرًا تاريخيًا. يغطي المتحف فترة المهدية ويعرض مقتنيات الخليفة نفسه وتاريخ تلك الفترة.
متحف شيكان
يقع في الأبيض، غرب السودان، بولاية كردفان، وأنشئ عام 1965. يضم آثارًا لمختلف العصور ابتداءً من العصور الحجرية وحتى عصر الفونج، مع إبراز مخلفات معركة شيكان. توقيت الزيارة مشابه للمتحف القومي.
متحف قصر السلطان علي دينار
يقع في غرب السودان في منطقة دارفور بمدينة الفاشر. القصر نفسه يعتبر قطعة أثرية ويضم آثارًا لعصور مختلفة، بالإضافة إلى مقتنيات السلطان علي دينار.
متحف الأثنوغرافيا
يقع عند تقاطع شارع الجامعة مع شارع الملك نمر. يلعب المتحف دورًا في تنمية الشعور القومي وتعزيز التمازج بين مكونات المجتمع. يبرز الجوانب الاقتصادية الشعبية في حياة الناس مما يساعد على تطوير اقتصاد القرية وتنمية الريف. يعكس المتحف التراث الثقافي للشعب ويعمل كمخزون استراتيجي للهوية والثقافة السودانية.
المتحف الحربي
يعتبر المتحف بمثابة دار وثائق حربية، حيث يحفظ مقتنيات القوات المسلحة السودانية ويوثق لتاريخها العريق المستند إلى بطولات الأجداد. يهدف إلى تعزيز العلاقات بين القوات المسلحة والمواطنين وتذكيرهم بالدور الوطني وحماية الوطن.
